Method
Tested in our kitchen
Rinse the rice and lentils, then cook separately according to their package instructions.
Boil pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
Fry the onions in vegetable oil until brown and crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain.
In a saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix the cooked rice, lentils, pasta, and chickpeas in a large bowl.
Accompany with vinegar and garlic sauce.
