Vegan Teriyaki Tofu

Method
Tested in our kitchen
Wrap tofu in a paper towel and press to remove excess water. Cut into cubes.
Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until fully coated.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry tofu until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add soy sauce, maple syrup, ginger, garlic, water, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer until the sauce thickens.
Return tofu to the pan, toss with the teriyaki sauce, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
