Method

Place the grated potatoes and onion in a clean cloth and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Heat a thin layer of oil in a pan over medium heat.
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the potato mixture into the pan, flattemand cook until the edges are crispy and golden, about 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook the other side.
Repeat with the remaining mixture, adding more oil as needed.
