In a large bowl, mix the vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, soy sauce, olive oil, tomato paste, and smoked paprika.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape into steaks.
Cook in a preheated skillet on medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side or until browned.
